How to set monthly goals and achieve them.

Before setting any goals in your life, You should know that you have to be consistent and have patience because things might not turn the way you want them to be but It’ll turn in a way which is way better for you.

The first goal either it’s monthly or yearly, you are going to be consistent

As it is being said that “Consistency leads to momentum”.

1- Consistency

You are not going to achieve your aims or goals in just one day or month. Make sure that you give this leverage to yourself that regardless of whatever happens, I am going to do this from now onwards and trust yourself.

Being consistent doesn’t mean that you will not be demotivated and frustrated about certain things that is not working in your way even if you’re being consistent.

You will make things work in your favour by continuously trying and not giving up.

2- Set an achievable goal

You don’t want to set a goal that I am going to lose 10Kgs in one month or I am going to earn 10,000 dollars per month because that’s not possible ( Well It might be for some lucky people) but set a goal realistic and achievable like following:

  • I’ll start avoiding sugar ( by avoiding I mean reducing the quantity. Like You’re not suddenly going to cut it off because you’ll crave more.
  • This month, I’ll try to sleep early and reduce my screen time by 1–2 hour.
  • I’ll walk more this month or I’ll start walking today. Sometimes you don’t even need a month to set a goal because you can always start today.
  • Start reading. Read 4–5 pages of anything today and increase the quantity day by day.
  • Give yourself few hours and do what you love.
  • I’ll smile more today or I’ll think positively about everything.

If you couldn’t really start a goal just stay positive because you’re actually thinking about doing something and that’s how you’re going to get there and better.

3- Learn from failures

Even if you’re working on your goals and you couldn’t really see a difference or you fail to achieve your goal. Set another one and work on that and still if you couldn’t achieve that as well, set another one and work harder but don’t give up.

Let’s say if you’re reading this article and actually thinking about doing this or are here to give it a read. You might not know that but you’re here for a purpose or you might think about this article during the day and will decide to it a try. That’s how you’re going to be a successful person.

Let’s start March by setting 2–3 goals and work on that.
